Our founder
It's the 1970s. And instead of being (un) satisfied with conventional cosmetics, Thomas Haase prefers to work intensively with natural active ingredients and studies literature on the subject of ointments and cosmetics. He quickly finds an alternative for his skin needs, based purely on natural ingredients. With his vision of developing natural cosmetics for everyone, always generating the latest innovations, our founder has been the natural cosmetics pioneer for over 40 years.
His first product is created in a tiny series, but with the highest demands on organic ingredients and their effectiveness: a lip balm. It is the cornerstone of the lavera brand, which more and more people, also abroad, are enthusiastic about and can still be found in our range today.
A success story for the region too
Since our foundation in 1987, we have been manufacturing almost all of our products ourselves here in the Hanover region. And nothing will change that. Because this enables us to guarantee the highest quality of our natural cosmetics, to make an effective contribution to the conservation of natural resources and to maintain respect for people and nature in everything we do.
