Clearly defined and independent labels on the packaging make it easier for all of us to make decisions and create certainty. For example about the fact that 100% of our products are certified natural cosmetics. We go through long and complex certification processes with every single product in order to finally give our customers transparency and security with a series of labels about what exactly they are buying.
We ensure binding standards
In Germany and Europe, the criteria for evaluating natural cosmetics were quite different for decades, which caused a lot of confusion. That is why the majority of our products have been certified according to the internationally recognised NATRUE standard, one of the strictest in the world, since 2009, as one of the very first brands.
We are all about plants
The Vegan Society from Great Britain has been awarding its well-known vegan label since 1945. It has adorned our products since May 2004 and has meanwhile conquered a large part of our entire range. There it shows that no animal ingredients, but plant-based renewable raw materials, were used.
Quality is paramount
For us at lavera, it was clear from the start that we would not compromise on the quality of our natural cosmetics. Hence our clear commitment to natural ingredients from controlled organic cultivation. The lavera product world has been bearing the organic logo for over 10 years and stands for our more than 300 organic plant-based ingredients, plant fluids and organic plant complexes, most of which we produce ourselves in the Hanover region.
Natural cosmetics without silicone
Our innovative hair care series are a natural alternative and offer an active formula with which molecules dock onto the surface damage of the hair, smooth it and leave the hair feeling supple. This keeps the scalp - the basis for healthy hair - intact and without any silicone.
Good news for everyone who is gluten intolerant
In our lip care products, we consciously avoid ingredients that contain the problematic adhesive protein gluten. So lavera natural cosmetics can also be used without hesitation in the case of gluten intolerance.

We manufacture all of our natural cosmetics products in the Hanover region, where we have built up a closed chain of competence and value over many years of work. In this way, we can ensure the highest quality in all steps from production to recycling and do everything we can to conserve resources and treat people and nature with respect.

For the award as a Green Brand it really goes in depth. The experts involved there check every step of the value chain from raw material extraction to suppliers, transport routes, research and development, manufacture, packaging, all levels of distribution, disposal of empty packaging and product design. Only when a brand does exemplary, sustainable work everywhere does Green Brand award the coveted seal.
